Vacation Bible School 2019 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church is off to a fantastic start! St. Jude volunteers have been working all week to make this year's program an epic African adventure that will engage the whole herd. The Ascension of the Lord is tomorrow, Thursday, May 30th. Please note that the Solemnity, and the obligation to attend Mass, is transferred to Sunday, June 2nd. In Jesus' Ascension, we're invited to consider our own ultimate end. Regardless of death's reality now, we believe in the resurrection of the body and the reunification of body and soul. One day, earth and heaven will meet perfectly and without end. We anticipate this "new heaven and a new earth" at every Mass and throughout the beauty, truth, and love of the Church and her members. The Ascension of the Lord calls us to celebrate a foreshadowing of the fullness we all await!

The event will feature an overview of the numerous and different ministries St. Jude is truly blessed to have, they will be ready to speak with anyone that is interested in their specific ministry! Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend! One other very important bit of information is that while you are visiting and speaking with our different ministries you are able to enjoy some donuts and coffee!
